What are the uses of messenger peptides in beauty care?
In the past, peptides were used as an excellent source of nutrients in cosmetics. The function of the new messenger peptides - mini protein chains of a few peptide molecules - is completely different. The nano-sized peptide molecules are able to integrate into the cell nucleus and trigger regeneration and cell renewal.

The skin building signal peptides
Matrixyl (palmitoyl pentapeptide) stimulates the growth of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.
Matrixyl 3000 (palmitoylterapeptide) does this too, but also inhibits and reverses glycation damage by blocking interleukins, preventing the internal pathological process by which glucose binds to certain important proteins that destroy our skin's support system by destroying collagen, elastin and other proteins.
Matrixyl ®synthe'6™ is an oxygen-free lipopeptide that stimulates the production of the skin matrix and the 6 main components of the skin-epidermal junction (collagen I, III, IV, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid). As a result, the skin is rebuilt from within, causing wrinkles to smooth out.
When the three skin-building substances are used in parallel, excellent results can be seen within a few weeks.
Collaxyl is effective in the treatment of dead cells, damaged skin tissue and wrinkles, and its skin tightening effect is not negligible. It reduces skin discolouration and fades vertical skin lines.
The SYN®-COLL peptide component has a dual effect. Firstly, it increases collagen production by mimicking the human body's own mechanism for activating the latent transforming growth factor beta, TGF-β (tissue growth factor), a key component in collagen synthesis. It protects collagen from degradation by inhibiting matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs).
