Sensitive skin
Sensitive skin reacts more strongly to all the stresses that come its way - not so much a skin type as a condition - caused by a breakdown in skin balance. The causes may include environmental pollution, poor diet, stress, overgrowth of demodex and, not least, the use of cosmetic products containing harmful chemicals.
Sensitive, damaged skin reacts more intensely to every impact, becoming dry, red and itchy. If the condition worsens, the sudden change in temperature can cause the redness to intensify and, in the worst cases, rosacea can develop. The latter, however, does not necessarily develop in all people with sensitive skin: statistics show that while 70-90% of women have skin sensitivity, rosacea affects only 8-10% of the population.
How does it work?
The skin's primary function is to protect itself. Healthy skin selects and does not let harmful substances into its deeper layers.
Any substance can penetrate the damaged skin surface where the skin's defences have been compromised. Harmful, irritating substances - chemicals, preservatives, perfumes, dyes, harmful chemical sunscreens, etc. - can penetrate the deeper layers of the skin and further deteriorate the skin. The skin may then react with irritation even to substances that are beneficial to health.
Therefore, it is important to be able to distinguish between irritation caused by toxic substances, skin allergy and irritation caused by damaged skin. Because:
sensitive skin is not an allergic condition, because if our skin is sensitive to substances that are toxic or harmful to us - this is a normal defence.
An allergy is an overreaction of the immune system to substances of natural origin that under normal, healthy conditions do not trigger any response from the body.
A skin allergy is not actually a skin disorder, but a symptom of an abnormal immune system.
Naturally occurring substances are known as allergens and harmful irritants are known as toxins.
A toxins should be avoided and existing allergies should be eliminated.
How?
In most cases, the cause of an allergy is due to a problem with the intestinal tract - not only is the intestine the site of digestion and absorption, it is also an important immune organ. At least 60-70% of our immune arsenal is made up of lymph vessels and lymph nodes in the intestinal mucosa.
The seat of the immune system
The intestinal tract is in some ways more important for the immune system than the thymus or the spleen. The lymphatic system, which covers an area of at least 50 square metres, encompasses the surface of the intestine the size of a football field.
The number of bacteria and smaller micro-organisms in the gut is greater than the number of cells in the body as a whole. There are around 500 different types of bacteria, totalling 100 trillion (1014), which is 6-7 kg for an average person weighing 70 kg. It is an important fact that a person's gut flora is unique and as specific as our fingerprints.
A course of intestinal cleansing, detoxification, intestinal flora regeneration and a fibre-rich diet can go a long way to reducing or even eliminating allergy symptoms.
In addition, bioresonance allergy testing and treatment, where more than 400 different substances are tested at the same time, can be a good alternative. They can treat and eliminate the specific hypersensitivity.
Types of sensitive skin
Sensitive skin can be dry and oily in texture.
Oily sensitive skin - this is more problematic to treat. In winter, the condition can worsen because the cold causes sebum, like oil, to congeal, making it thicker and blocking the entrance of sebum. It's like having one less layer of protection on your skin in winter. The first thing to do is to find out all about Demodex and take the Demodex treatment. In addition, such skin needs moisture replenishment in particular: products with a high content of urea, hyaluronic acid and especially liposomes are the best for this. Liposome products are immediately absorbed by the skin, liquefy sebum and do not leave a shiny layer.
Dry sensitive skin - usually prone to dryness and wrinkling particularly quickly. Wrinkles can appear early and are more visible on such skin. Reduced cellular activity reduces cell regeneration, which leads to wrinkles, meaning that the skin simply ages faster. The first thing to do is to learn all about Demodex and get a Demodex treatment. After that, you can rebuild and replenish the skin.
The cleansing and care of sensitive skin should aim at restoring its physiological balance and increasing its ability to regenerate. The aim is to completely rebuild the skin and eliminate its sensitivity.
